Plan wedding

It’s never too early to plan your wedding; Start with a fiance

Fiance’ CHECK!

Whew, that’s the big choice. Now to plan your wedding.

Now it’s time to start planning your wedding. Some couples book their venue first. When picking a venue, think about what you want your wedding to be like? Country, urban, rock-n-roll, contemporary etc. Does the venue allow dancing? Do they allow alcohol? What is their plan if it rains? Does the venue allow you to hire your own vendors, such as, photographer, videographer, caterer, florist.  Or does the venue make you use their vendors.  You should ask before you visit.

Next think about your food. Do you want fancy food or comfort food. That may depend on your budget, but don’t stress too much.  The day is about your wedding, not really if people get duck a or hamburgers. It may sound crazy to have food this high up on the list, but some venues don’t allow outside food, so it’s good to know that.

Next you should think about your clergy or officiant. If you choose a clergy, they may offer pre wedding counseling. If they do, take it, there’s nothing wrong with a group chat prior to your special day.  The more support you get, the better your wedding will be. The clergy’s style, level of professionalism, and experience will have a huge impact on your ceremony. Do they use humor? Do they reflect your style?

After that then give some thought to cinematography and photography. Your wedding will fly by and be over before you know it. You are only one person (two with a spouse) and you can’t be everywhere during your wedding day. But your photographer(s) or cinematographer(s) can preserve your day for you. Later you’ll be able to see things you never knew happened.

Consider adding a wedding coordinator to set the day, and must be coordinated with your entire decor. So here is where I’d consider a good person to coordinate your wedding. You’ll appreciate it in the long run being able to have someone to handle the hundred or so decisions, so you can sit back and relax and have fun!

As the title says, It’s never too early to plan your wedding. Above are the biggies so to speak, start with these and some of the other decisions will fall in to place.
