The Midlothian Parade in Midlothian Virginia 2016
These images from the annual Midlothian Parade in Midlothian Virginia. It was a great day of fun! There were celebrity appearances and floats and riders from your favorite local businesses. The Midlothian Schools were well represented as well. There were local dance teams and the schools football team also in the parade. The weather was perfect. Each local company had a variety of themes and participants. The Chesterfield Police led off the parade with motorcycles and the Honor Guard. As each float came by, the riders tossed candy for children standing along the parade route to pick up.
In front of Midlothian Middle, there was a Bazaar with many local companies selling items. Inside the school gymnasium was a model train group that had model trains operating. There were also games inside the gym that kids could play. Outside there was food for sale and kettle corn!
We love being a part of the Midlothian community. As you can see from the pictures, Midlothian has a lot of flavor and diverse local business.
